Fifteen years ago, there were only a handful of surfers in Mae Rumpheung beach - mostly passionate, ocean-obsessed souls who found themselves gravitating towards riding the waves. We all came from different walks of life, but shared one undeniable truth: the ocean is our home.

SURF SEASON

Surfing on Mae Rumpheung Beach is best during April to October, although the quality of the surf and the size of the waves can vary as we rely on wind swells.

Storms generated in neighboring countries can create large swells of waves for both Mae Rum Pheung beach, Suang Son, and islands around like Koh Samed.
